Working on a dream is never easy

As I sit here and write this post, my daughter is in her room, listening to music, drawing a pine cone. She's challenging herself every day to develop her gifts. She is happy, relaxed, knowing she is loved, knowing she is not pressured to become, to prove anything.

She is free and supported to experience life and experience herself: as a leader, as an artist, as a model, as a nanny.. she has no fear, she is free to be and become.

"I love you", she tells both me and her father. It's an "I love you" meaning I love us, I love this, I love this context of life where I can grow.

I cannot help but notice the vibe in our home: we care for each other, we communicate what we truly feel, each and every one of us feels supported, seen, listened to, cared for; we can say what works and doesn't and all three of us want to support the other. We take care of the house together, we share everyday tasks, we can take brakes and we have fun and make fun of each other, play games or listen to the music we desire.

We've built this, my husband and I. And now, as she is transitioning to adulthood, our daughter as well.

We create this feeling good environment for each other.

We've helped each other clean the messy parts of us. We accept what is still work in progress and continue to evolve.

We've worked consistently to transition from older, outdated versions of us. To imagine and build these new versions. It wasn't always like this. It was harder, much harder.

Working on a dream is never easy. Having a good home for us is our common dream and we prioritize it every day.

And, in time, the results, the evidence we can, the proof is worth it.. came.

We've built this from toxicity, low frequency behavior, cancer, lack of money, frustration, anger, freeze mode, lack of integrity..

Everything was transformed.

Choosing every day to act in alignment to our dream home. Our dream life. And as we chose it, it downloaded.

And it is here.

I wonder how much beauty awaits us?

I feel there are so many reasons to be grateful for ahead of us! May we always have the wisdom to download beauty into our lives, my love 🤍.
